The real "Mr. Jimmy"
James
Phelge is the man
from Rolling Stones folklore. The
real "Mr.
Jimmy" from
"You Can't Always Get What
You Want". Chances are that if you pick up any
book on
the Rolling Stones they talk about him somewhere inside.
Back in 1963 Phelge shared the infamous Edith Grove flat with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones, and was closer to the core of the band than anyone has ever been. Keith has described him as 'lovable', 'a troublemaker', 'an unknown hero' and 'the most disgusting person ever'. He also told Phelge to write a book on the day that the band played it's first professional gig. He has done it at last. "Phelge's Stones" is full of unknown Rolling Stones facts and hilarious laughs. The infamous Phelge brings myths and legends to life. To
visit Phelge's web site
and get more information about Phelge's Stones, click
on the book cover above. Phelge's
site is currently unavailable. We're keeping the link here in
hopes that it will soon be back on the WWW! |
